Sam Flaherty
Senior Pastor, Residency Co-Director
I have been a Foursquare Pastor now for over 18 years. I currently serve as our Foursquare Area supervisor for the South Oregon Area. I am so thankful for the opportunity to serve pastors across multiple denominations. Lovena and I deeply love our leaders. Lovena and I have been married over 30 years. We love our growing family! Both our children are married and we have an amazing grand-daughter. We moved to Coquille over eight years ago to pastor in this amazing community. I serve as the Mayor and a volunteer firefighter in our community. Lovena works hard as a nurse case manager and in several ministries at Coquille Foursquare. We love gardening, camping, kayaking and date nights! We are so excited for all that God continues to do in our lives and the lives of these amazing families in the Coquille Valley.

Kaylee Hanks

Hi, I’m Kaylee. (Hiiiii Kayleeeee) I was born and raised in Fresno, California. There, I went to Fresno State and earned my B.F.A. In Graphic Design with Emphasis in Illustration. After I graduated, I knew I needed to follow God’s calling and begin pursuing ministry. Before I knew it, I found myself in Canby, Oregon starting the internship program at Canby Foursquare. My time there was truly life changing. Now I am here in Coquille! I was a Resident Pastor for two years, and I completed my Master's Degree in Strategic Leadership from Life Pacific University. I love this church, and I love working here! Miscellaneous Fun Facts: I love to play board games, I collect rubber ducks, my favorite ice cream is Moose Tracks, and I love bears.
As a part of my Master's Degree Program, I completed a Capstone research project. It was a case study on our church and our worship team about what leadership practices best encourage creative process engagement in worship team members. Check it out!
Alice Schaenzer
Elder, Prayer Leader
Alice has been part of the Praise Center family for over 30 years. She plays a key/active role in leading our Elders and Prayer Teams that meet throughout the week and on Sunday mornings before service. Please drop her an email if you have a prayer request.
Alice loves her growing family. She also loves to read mysteries; enjoys the sounds of nature; dabbles in art & writing. Her absolute joy is visiting with folks and hearing what Jesus is doing in their lives.
Jean Boone
Executive Administrative Assistant
Jean has been at Coquille Foursquare for over a decade, and she began working in the office with us in 2024. She loves walking on the beach, rockhounding, reading, and spending time with her eight grandkids. Her favorite part about working at the church is the never-ending love, support, and encouragement.
